Rules to live by Reality Vs. Stupidity part 2
I have some serious opinions about people acting stupid. Here they are.
22. Companies that call people at any time on any day asking for business but have a large NO SOLICITING sign on their front office window.
...
23. People that drive slower than the speed limit for no reason. At least have a reason like you are on the clock, not wanting to get to where you are going, wanting to tick off the 40 cars lined up behind you...at least have some reason. GET REAL
24. People that believe they deserve government money because the "invisible hand" has wiped out their job for the season. Get a real job and pick back up your way of life when it is profitable again. If it isn't profitable again, stick with your new job. GET REAL
25. People that live on governmental assistance that smoke. Can't you spend your money wisely? Well, at least you are going to get off of that assistance sooner than if you didn't smoke. GET REAL
26. People that are suing fast food for making them fat. I'm going to sue you because you make me take time out of my day to write this statement. Before you email me, it is the same thing. I don't have to write this statement, they don't have to eat fast food. GET REAL
27. People that complain about SPAM but are the first to email everyone on their email list anything that isn't a personal message. GET REAL
28. Professionals that don't know their own profession. i.e. any Information Technology person not knowing what an IM is or how to put an icon on the desktop. The Chief Financial Officer not being able to tell you how their company makes money each day. Or my favorite, the self-proclaimed Environmentalist that has never lived in or near the "environment" for longer than a business trip. GET REAL
29. Adult people that complain about the rain but live in a state that has an average of 3 months of sunshine. GET REAL
30. Adult people that complain about anything that is not controllable, (weather, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods--frequent or infrequent) yet do not move away from the source of the problem. GET REAL
31. Adult people that complain about living in the United States, say it is better to live in a foreign country, but continue to live in the United States. I encounter people like this every where I go. GET REAL
32. People that can't forget the past when it is prudent and don't remember the past (or know the past) when it is appropriate. GET REAL
33. People that believe there are less trees on the west coast than there were 30, 50 even a hundred years ago. There are actually more trees per acre than at anytime in any living person's memory. GET REAL
34. People that believe that just because there are more trees they should be able to cut down more trees. GET REAL.
35. People that actually think that laws taking guns away from people will actually work. GET REAL
36. People that don't think reasonable gun laws should be implemented and enforced. GET REAL
37. To the government and lawmakers in Oregon that refused to listen to the public's vote when they passed the assisted suicide law, who do you think you represent anyway? GET REAL
38. To the people that are standing by and letting their vote be ignored. GET REAL
39. Whether you think assisted suicide is right or not is one thing, not following a vote of the people is another.
40. To the agencies that are letting foreign countries net Salmon off of our shores and then cry Salmon shortage, hurting the U.S. fishing industry. GET REAL
41. To the people of Whittier Alaska complaining about the toll to drive through the new tunnel. You live in the middle of no where and can use the tunnel only if you want to. You can stick to the old methods of travel if you don't like paying the toll and GET OVER IT. GET REAL
42. To the people that are not from Whittier Alaska that think that the Whittier people should pay full price or even half price to use the tunnel. GET REAL
Don't worry, I'll think of more.
