William Salentan says: Children are like slaves, without rights?? WHAT?

October 3rd, 2008

“Why does every poll show broad support for vetoing minors' decisions? Because minors don't get polled. They can't vote. That's the way it used to be with blacks and women: You can't protect yourself when you don't have the franchise.”

Stop bashing WalMart

August 25th, 2008

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Extra/TheEndOfTheWalMartEra.aspx

First they bash Wal-Mart with story after story after story…headlines like “the stimulus checks will all go to Wal-Mart” and on and on.

It’s as if they are in their own little world, the media, and they play through imaginary battles time and time again. Whether the liberal media* wants to believe it or not, things cost money. Since the fall of the barter and trade system, money has become the food people have to have in order to have things, peace and, yes, the Olympics. So how do the Olympics get money? Sponsorship of course. How do those sponsors get money: by advertising their goods in the hope that they will sell more products. Without large corporate sponsors, the big 12 this year, there would be NO OLYMPICS AT ALL. According to this article and the ridiculous ignorance of the boards I have read today concerning the boycott I seriously think some people want the Olympics to fall out of existence.

Brockenbrough tries revenge of the nerds technique against Miley Cyrus.

March 7th, 2008

Martha Brockenbrough’s article is more revenge of the nerd than an article with advice for parents and children. http://movies.msn.com/movies/PMG/teenidols?GT1=7701

I write articles that point out weaknesses in others all the time. Here’s the problem with the article above. Ms. Brockenbrough has written an article that is ridiculously based on something that “might” happen. She takes the experiences from her youth (where she lists teen idols I’ve never heard of so she must be older than I am) with teen idols and projects them onto an innocent (YES INNOCENT) girl playing Hanna Montana and herself Miley Cyrus.
