William Salentan says: Children are like slaves, without rights?? WHAT?

Permalink 10/03/08 12:48, by admin, Categories: Articles

“Why does every poll show broad support for vetoing minors' decisions? Because minors don't get polled. They can't vote. That's the way it used to be with blacks and women: You can't protect yourself when you don't have the franchise.”

Stop bashing WalMart

Permalink 08/25/08 13:06, by admin, Categories: Welcome, Articles

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Extra/TheEndOfTheWalMartEra.aspx

First they bash Wal-Mart with story after story after story…headlines like “the stimulus checks will all go to Wal-Mart” and on and on.

It’s as if they are in their own little world, the media, and they play through imaginary battles time and time again. The end of the first page of the article points out that Wal-Mart is three times larger than the next biggest competitor. That means they could close half of their stores and still be the largest. Right? So in what world is Wal-Mart losing again?

Gas Prices are High

High Gas Prices + Waste - Sacrifices = Recession…uh, no.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25958983

So gas prices are going absolutely nuts and I think that I actually didn’t make a trip this year to save the $150 in gas it would have cost…either that or I was seriously tired. I think it was the former…maybe the latter.

Do Not Boycott the Olympics: and not for the Olympic Athlete's sake.

Permalink 04/25/08 13:12, by admin, Categories: Articles

http://www.slate.com/id/2187280/?GT1=38000

Whether the liberal media* wants to believe it or not, things cost money. Since the fall of the barter and trade system, money has become the food people have to have in order to have things, peace and, yes, the Olympics. So how do the Olympics get money? Sponsorship of course. How do those sponsors get money: by advertising their goods in the hope that they will sell more products. Without large corporate sponsors, the big 12 this year, there would be NO OLYMPICS AT ALL. According to this article and the ridiculous ignorance of the boards I have read today concerning the boycott I seriously think some people want the Olympics to fall out of existence.

Brockenbrough tries revenge of the nerds technique against Miley Cyrus.

Permalink 03/07/08 13:17, by admin, Categories: Articles

Martha Brockenbrough’s article is more revenge of the nerd than an article with advice for parents and children. http://movies.msn.com/movies/PMG/teenidols?GT1=7701

I write articles that point out weaknesses in others all the time. Here’s the problem with the article above. Ms. Brockenbrough has written an article that is ridiculously based on something that “might” happen. She takes the experiences from her youth (where she lists teen idols I’ve never heard of so she must be older than I am) with teen idols and projects them onto an innocent (YES INNOCENT) girl playing Hanna Montana and herself Miley Cyrus.

Round One to Whom? Hillary Clinton Cheap Shots Barack Obama

Permalink 02/23/08 13:52, by admin, Categories: Articles

The author of this article, John Dickerson, claims that Hillary just won a round with Barack in their ridiculous run for Presidency. It is ridiculous; let’s face it. I’ll go on record as saying NEITHER of these candidates will EVER be President. Mark it down on Election Day so that you know I called it years in advance. I said it and it will be so. (that's a serious joke in case you missed it)

Tapping your 401K? Why do you think you deserve what you can't afford?

Permalink 02/19/08 13:21, by admin, Categories: Articles

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23241606

The thing about articles like these is that they keep getting written, yet almost everyone in the blog boards disagree with them. Most people realize they are stupid and want things that they can't afford so they do the responsible thing and go without. For those of you who get it, skip to here. For those who don't get it, here it is again.

Kent Miskin, you need to apologize.

Mr. fireman himself, Kent Miskin of Terreton Idaho wrote the letter to the editor in the link above.

First, I haven't seen Challis play in about 5 years and even then I saw a girls JV game (maybe C-Team) as it was the only game going on at the time. I know the boys' basketball coach but haven't seen her or actually talked to her in about 15 years. I did listen to the boys team though.

Torture: It's wrong. AK Politics 2 Grand?

Permalink 12/15/07 13:29, by admin, Categories: Articles

As you know every once in awhile I get to rant and rave a bit. So far reactions to the ranting articles have been good but I would especially like to break out in this article. Shoot me an email and tell me why I’m as stupid as you are. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=3978231&page=1

When I first heard about the torture allegations against the Unites States I thought “of course we are torturing people, of course we are going to get caught and of course it is not OK.” Seriously. The government has a huge duty to keep you safe and if you are against that, I say you're Spoiled and safe.

Do fat people really need someone to blame for being fat?

Permalink 12/14/07 13:31, by admin, Categories: Articles

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22220895/

If you have a medical reason for being overweight or if you simply get offended by people saying that you eat too much and run too little; do not read this article. It’s full of truth and will probably make you feel bad… depression can make people fat so do not read this article if you think you're fat because of reasons beyond your control.

My Pledge As you may notice in the many articles to come, I absolutely can not stand people that have an opinion about something they know very little about or didn't take the time to research before giving their opinion. I pledge that I will not write a single article about a subject that I don't know enough about to see several sides of the issue. If you think I am missing something, I'd love to be the first to know about it. Other Stuff The opinions expressed in these articles are for discussion purposes only and do not, in anyway, reflect the opinions, voting practices or ideas of Findawish.com, its parent company, its employees and/or their families/friends or its affiliates. Public input is welcome but no response is guaranteed. I am often asked why I don't write a new article every single day. The short answer is that I don't have that much to say. I have quite a few articles that will never be posted because I either feel that I don't know enough about the subject or that I can't defend my stance well enough to allow it to be criticized or critiqued by the general public. If you really want to know how I feel about these articles you should read the source section of my rules to live by articles.
