Movie Ratings and Reviews

Well, when I saw a short 30 second preview of the movie all I saw was "great special effects" and it's a James Cameron movie. We have to see it! The movie was very well made with special effects that were cutting edge however don't expect a new plot or re-invented characters. Boy falls in love with girl, girl shows him her way of life is the enlightened path, boy changes his views and saves the day as well as falling in love with the girl and her way of life...awwwwww.

Follow up:

One movie critic described it the best by saying the movie is "old bones with new skin!" Very clever because that seven foot alien with blue skin is different. Special effects are jaw dropping and yes, I cried big crocodile tears during the sad parts, the bad guy is really bad, and most of good guy are martyrs. All good tree loving fun. So the true test is, was it worth it to go to theatre at 6pm and find out all showings were sold out until 8:30, wait until 8pm, thinking that would give us plenty of time, and be at the very end of the line causing us to dash to the closest two seats that were together and watch a 3 hour movie with a large bucket of popcorn, a pitcher of soda and a stain your tongue blue ICEE? Yes.
